Book Review

It was very thoughtful for Latischa Mays to write such a heartfelt book. Considering her

experience a as nurse for many years, she was able to depict this in a fun, special, and

light-hearted way. Also the similarity to her in real life is remarkable.

I’ve always adored books that bring real life characters to fantasy and animation. It’s a bit

nostalgic and the illustrations are so darn cute! I love that the story brings light to a relationship

that is built on healing and love. The story is also an acknowledgement of the selfless

compassion that nurses provide for their patients, going above and beyond their roles as a

nurse to make a person’s day better. What’s even better about this read is that adults and

children alike should find it interesting.
